is it possible to keep the display on for the watchface initially shown? if it stays on , how long can it last before charge depletes

Worst Garmin watch ever

I purchased the Garmin approach Z30 laser rangefinder and I really like it. The laser feature is fast and spot. The distance to the back and front of the green is very informational. It locks on to the pin really quick and I got the vibrationevery time. However, I’m going to returning it to Golf Galaxy because I am pretty good at my distances and hitting near the pin. I currently have the Garmin approach Z82 and everything works great. so this unit doesn’t work for me and there is no benefits for me to make a $400 purchase for something that does what my current rangefinder does. Overall, it’s a great golf range Finder and it's even better if you have a Garmin gps watch. I hope Garmin adds the range relay feature to the Z82 since it would only require a software update.

I don't understand if you can listen to music and then get the yardage without changing modes. Seems like clunky tech. better to have a phantom and a speaker as two separate devices. Oh, please tone down the background music next video, hard to hear what I came here for, the review.

Thanks - super helpful! I have a 170 mm wrist. Ideally, I would go with the 47mm, but I want to use the watch for MTB navigation. Between the 51 perhaps being too big for my wrist and the 47 too small for navigation, what would you recommend? Cheers!

Garmins are so inaccurate when it comes to calories burned and steps walked though… why? I thought they would be the best at this.

The inability of having EPIX to be in AOD mode as long as Fenix (battery is getting raped there) is a dealbreaker for me. Always on display is something I must have.

I have a wrist size about 165-170 mm and I went back and forth over 42mm vs 47 mm. The 47 looked fine. I would definitely wear that while doing an activity. The battery lasts longer and the screen is easier to read. But I went with the 42 mm because I felt that it would be better to wear 24/7. Also one difference that maybe doesn’t get talked about is the bezel on the 47 is much thicker and bulkier for no apparent reason, so that adds to the size difference.
